English-styled Valentine

14/2/2017 was a special joyful Valentine for me .
It is known that the art of baking is an honor to British people , and there is an English saying that declares that the home's quality is judged through its bakes , and that's why i decided to celebrate through baking the following cakes , cookies , tarts and pies , to go with a drink of rosepetal syrup to match the red atmosphere .

Traditional chocolate cake

Scones is a kind of English bake , there are several kinds of scones either savory scones or sweet scones , and here are the three kinds I've made for my mummy who ate it with great enjoyment :

Cakes had always been and will always remain one of the great joys in life..here are two kinds of the cakes I make at home :

My peppermint fondant confection

These lovely sweet homemade and star-shaped fondant are smelling and tasting peppermint flavor .
I can also make a lot of other shapes and much more of other flavors such as vanilla , banana , rose , chocolate , strawberry , lemon , coconut , pineapple , almond , orange , coffee and much more

Milk,fresh orange juice and toast with a spread of raspberry jam

Toasted cheese sandwich with and homemade iced coffee

Oatmeal porridge made of oats, skimmed milk , orange water and light sugar

2nd Feb. , Crepes day

Most of us do not know that crepes have a special day , it's actually the second of February .. Crepe is made and eaten on that day every year .
on the 2 nd of February , 2017 , I decided to celebrate by preparing three kinds of crepes : 
- Vanilla
- Cinnamon 
- and the famous Crepe Suzette with orange syrup and pink food coloring to make the crepes look pretty with my favorite color .

The photos may be a little dark , it's just because of the time these photos were taken at, but hey..it's all my handmade and photographed crepes anyway .
I bought some strawberry jam and apricot jam , as well as icing sugar to go with them .

Oreos are a milk's best friend

Ever since the first local version of Oreo had been made , it was described as a brunette cookie stuffed with white cream , which made its flavors of chocolate and cream form a wonderful contrast with fresh milk .... Milk and Oreos shall always remain the favorite snack for many people , and a wonderful meal for Santa Clause of course .

The first chocolate spread ever

I can never forget that local chocolate hazelnut cream I used to be gifted when I was a little child.....My sweet mummy was the first person ever to spread it on bread as a sandwich....those imported chocolate spread brands were not there yet , they were produced later .
Love you mummy!

The white chocolate's first class gift

During my previous job as a hotel front desk receptionist , a guest once came to me at the counter , asking for arranging a gift to her husband who was expected to join her later to celebrate their anniversary . She found white chocolates in her suite's minibar , moreover the suite contained bright blue goblets that looked really fancy .
The guest ordered for two of those blue goblets to be filled with white chocolates like the ones she tasted during her stay , and I was glad to make sure the order was successful.

What does a chocolaterie sell beside chocolate ?

A chocolaterie goods do not stop in the field of chocolates...but it also exposes and sells other related products , such as cocoa , coffee powder and sweets .
They also sell jam , marmalade and honey , as well as other desserts like cakes , cookies , madelaines and dried fruit , and some sell marrons glaces which is a very fancy kind of sweets .
Something that I really loved its taste was sugared orange slices dipped in dark chocolate , and it's also very fancy .

Valentine's day's chocolate basket...a lovely expressive gift

At a certain time of my life , I used to have a colleague who was really a very good partner and participant , even though there was a great difference between ages . Valentine's day was coming and he told me he wanted to surprise his beloved , and asked for advice to do that..he also told me about an idea in his mind , which i supported , adding a touch of creation out of my mind.
He decided to buy a fancy basket and fill it with all chocolate brands , adding fancy decorations to it.....This idea was completed to its best through co-operation of both minds , mine and his .

A whole candy-made village

Those who read the children's fairy tale ( Hanzel and Gretyl ) , know that the tale tells the story of two children who got lost in a village all made of candy....Biscuits , sweets , chocolates , lollipops , cotton candies and more...As little children , the two began to eat all the houses established there .

But do u know that such a park was tried to be established in the USA ?
That's true , they used cream as cement for the cookie and cake walls as well as compote fruits....yummy yummy ! Imagine that !
